1. Eat smarter.

2. Get moving.
Lifting weights or some sort of resistance training is an effective way to burn calories and keep your metabolism moving. If you can’t lift weights, try walking, cycling or swimming. Experts recommend going to the gym 3 to 4 times a week, but every little bit helps, including standing more throughout the day and taking strolls on your lunch break.
